Drones and Radio Frequency (RF) disruption are changing how law enforcement
protects the public. Threats can now take advantage of tactics seen on modern
battlefields and incorporate them into their criminal plans. In many cases it is also
making the job of policing more efficient. From location of accident victims to dropping
water to lost hikers, first responders are able to do more faster and with less resources
by employing new systems. For better or worse, the world around us is changing rapidly.
The RAZOR-01 team has been part of a joint effort since the war in Ukraine started and
were on the ground in Isreal just days after the Hamas attacks of October 7 th . They are
one of very few US groups that have 1 st hand experience in actions in a contested
environment and have volunteered their services to begin educating law enforcement
on the new RF landscape. The one day law enforcement drone and contested
environment course will educate attendees in the following areas:
Drone systems and uses
Intelligence, Reconnaissance and Surveillance through sUAS (small Unmanned Aerial Systems)
ATAK/ ITAK
Radio Frequency familiarization
RF detection, analysis and jamming)
Digital vs Analog
Counter drone measures
Tethered systems
Practical application scenarios
